A thoughtful post about micropreemie outcomes--the realities, the difficulties, what's changing, and why there are some good reasons for optimism for the future. And, on top of being thoughtful, it (like everything else on Ex Utero's blog, is very well written. I also recommend his fiction (and actually recommended this blog to a student of mine who is going off to med school next year but who is a humanist at heart). The fiction is not an 'easy' or 'fun' read, but enormously compelling.
